Maddi Thompson (she/they)

Hey everyone! My name is Maddi and I'm super excited to be the president of the CHeMnBiO club this year, I can't wait to work with you all and put on some super sick events! I'm a third year genetics student, and I am absolutely loving working in the lab and finding out how things work on a small scale. Outside of lectures and tutes, I spend my time learning new musical instruments and on weekends you'll always find me at a local gig! Keegan Mitchell (they/them)

Hey hey!! I’m Keegan and I’m the CHeMnBiO secretary for 2022. I’ve got the boring job on committee so it’s my job to make sure the rest of this lot are all organised. I spend my days on committee sending emails, yelling at others for not giving me the documents I need, and reading the constitution every night before bed. Im in my second year of my bachelors in molecular life science and in my free time my only hobbies currently are boost juice consumption and trying not to fail all my classes. Izzy Wilson (she/her)

Hi there! I’m Izzy and I’m CHeMnBio’s Treasurer for 2022. I’m in my third year of studying French and genetics, which is an interesting pair I know! I love being able to speak another language and also learning how genetics is playing a big role in the world right now. If I’m not studying, you’ll probably find me at the beach! Issy Pang (she/her)

Hi! I’m Issy and I am currently in my 2nd year of studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as Genetics. As welfare officer, I’ll have a role in running welfare and volunteering events (such as the Ronald McDonald House Lovin’ from the Oven) as well as keeping your uni experience wholesome and ensuring that everyone’s having a good time. Fun fact actually really really sad fact: I’ve been bitten by the same dog twice (once on the butt)

My name is Kati and I am so excited to be the second year representative of the CHeMnBio Club for this year. I am a second year chemistry student and I am thinking of pursuing a Master of Pharmacy in my postgraduate studies. During my spare time, I love to play badminton and watching movies. An average day for me is spending 15 of my waking hours re-watching basic Netflix shows, and scrolling through reels. I also make a mean chocolate mug cake, especially in the 1-3am timeslot. Hello folks of UWA! Absolutely fantastic to meet you all! My name is David and I’m the CHeMnBiO OCM for 2022. I am studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology, and economics (yes, it is quite a mouthful). My hobbies include procrastination, playing the guitar, bingeing Bojack Horseman for the hundredth time, and saying extremely unfunny dad jokes to maintain my title as the ‘funny guy’ in any social setting. Hi everyone! I’m Harini (she/her), and I’m an Ordinary Committee Member for CHeMnBiO Club. I’m currently majoring in Chemistry and International Relations—two very different things, I know! In my spare time you’ll most likely find me reading, playing the piano, or hanging out with my friends. A fun fact about me is that in 2019 I buzzed my head in front of my entire high school for the Cancer Council! Feel free to approach me to talk about chemistry—or Arcane!
